Parents as Partners

ARI's Puzzle Piece Campaign

Autism One is a nonprofit, charity organization 501(c)(3) started by a small group of parents of children with autism. Parents are and must remain the driving force of our community, the stakes are too high and the issues too sacred to delegate to outside interests.

AUTISM IS A PREVENTABLE/TREATABLE BIOMEDICAL CONDITION
Autism is the result of environmental toxins such as vaccines and air and water pollutants. The great majority of children suffering from autism regressed into autism after routine vaccination.

Today, children receive 24 vaccines by the time they are 2 and 36 by age 5. Autism is not caused by "bad" genes and the epidemic is not the result of "better" diagnosis. Autism is caused by too many vaccines given too soon.

Children with autism (as the result of vaccine damage) suffer from gut bugs, allergies, heavy metal toxicity, mitochondrial disorders, antioxidant deficiencies, nutritional deficiencies and autoimmune diseases - all of which are treatable.

THE KEY IS EDUCATION
The Autism One Conference, Autism One Radio, Autism One Outreach and Autism in Action initiatives educate more than 100,000 families every year about prevention, recovery, safety, and change.

  • AutismOne Conferences - The most comprehensive autism conference in the world. The annual 5-day event held in Chicago educates parents and professionals about the most up-to-date aspects of autism. Leading experts from around the U. S. gather to present their findings. Workshops, roundtables, classes, an arts festival, and special events provide a powerful experience and education in autism.

  • AutismOne Radio - The online voice of the autism community features over 50 programs bringing hope and education to a worldwide audience. We cover the news as it happens, interview the most knowledgeable professionals, and provide guidance and best-practices from fellow parents.

  • AutismOne Outreach - Liaisons in minority communities plus Mexico, Canada, and South America support and strengthen local missions of best-practices, hope, and recovery.

  • Autism in Action - Presents special programs to keep our children safe while promoting change:
    - The First Responder program trains police and other public safety personnel on how to safely and effectively deal with individuals with autism.
    - The Policymakers program educates government officials on the biomedical model of autism, supports needed legislation, and partners with other autism organizations working with government agencies.

  • Elizabeth Birt Center for Autism Law and Advocacy - Educates attorneys, parents, and advocates to address the immediate and ongoing legal and advocacy needs of the autism community.

One Family, One Future
Your hopes are our hopes. Your dreams are our dreams. One by one Autism One helps bring the hope and begin the healing to one mother and one child, then another and another. Help here.

Raising Awareness

The Autism One Big Rig sure has a way of turning heads and getting noticed. Hundreds of pictures are snapped and hours of informative discussion start when this one-of-a-kind semi hits the road. Thanks to David and Felicia for an "open road" approach to autism awareness. See more.

Ironman for AutismOne

The movie was cool, but this is cooler. Steve Etten decided to compete in his second Wisconsin Ironman competition to help raise funds for AutismOne. Not being the most competitive swimmer, runner, or cyclist did not keep him out of the Winner's Circle. Steve wins for all the children with autism.
